Peapack and Gladstone were once an Indian camp
located on the main trail going from northwest New Jersey to the shore area. Peapack and Gladstone are often referred to as twin boroughs, rural in aspect and nestled in the beautiful hills of Somerset County. A small community, only 5.9 square miles in area. Peapack & Gladstone are considered to be a very desirous residential community because of the accessibility to New York and Philadelphia. The area around Peapack and Gladstone, NJ is widely known in equestrian circles and the United States Equestrian Stables are at nearby Hamilton Farms.
