Flemington, New Jersey

Flemington is the county seat of Hunterdon County. It is a small town of approximately 4000 people with wonderfully preserved architecture, most dating from the Victorian Era, and a large representation of Greek Revival buildings. It is the home of many historical and cultural attractions. The historic Hunterdon County Courthouse was the site of the trial against Bruno Hauptmann, the kidnapper of Charles Lindbergh's son.

Flemington has a tradition of craftsmanship which includes the original site of Fulper Pottery which later went on to Trenton as Stangl Pottery. Its reputation also lured Empire State Glass from New York City, headed by Alphonse Muller who later opened his own company, Flemington Cut Class.
